Built to close Nigeria’s livestock productivity gap

Nigeria has a large livestock sector, but many farms are held back by low-yielding genetics, poor reproductive performance, preventable disease and limited access to modern tools. We tackle all four together.

Better genetics

Superior breeds and semen selected to thrive locally.

Healthier herds

Prevention-first, veterinary-led health programmes.

Data-driven farming

Digital records that show how every animal performs.

Safer food

Healthy animals and good handling mean safer products.

From prevention to productivity

Every stage is linked: prevention, monitoring, diagnosis, treatment and records all feed back into better productivity, because a sick animal means slower growth, lower fertility, higher costs and lower farmer income.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about who we are and how we work.

Rayiea is an agricultural and livestock company. We run modern livestock production and provide animal genetics, artificial insemination, veterinary herd-health programmes, precision livestock technology and training to farmers and partners.

Smallholder farmers, medium and large commercial farms, cooperatives, government agencies, development organisations and research institutions. Our goal is to make modern livestock technology accessible beyond the largest commercial farms.

Artificial insemination gives you access to superior genetics without buying and keeping an expensive breeding male. Combined with heat detection, pregnancy diagnosis and good records, it improves fertility and the quality of every new generation.

Only if they are chosen carefully. We screen genetics for adaptability, disease risk and regulatory requirements. A high-performing animal that struggles in Nigerian conditions is not a better animal commercially.
