Who we are

Rayiea Nigeria Limited (RC 1966929) is a livestock and agribusiness company based in Kaduna, Kaduna State, Nigeria. We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us the data controller under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

Information we collect

We only collect information that you choose to give us, or that is needed to run this website safely.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, the type of organisation you represent and your message.
  • Booking form: the service you want, the type and number of animals, your state and town or LGA, your preferred date and time, your name, phone number, email address and any notes you add.
  • Calls, emails and WhatsApp messages: your contact details and what you tell us.
  • Services we provide: details of your farm and animals, such as health, breeding and production records, where you ask us to keep them.
  • Technical information: when you visit the site, our hosting and security providers record basic details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

Our FarmKit tools work entirely in your browser. We do not receive the dates, numbers or prices you enter. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. To understand how the site is used, we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and call you back about a booking.
  • To plan, carry out and follow up the services you ask for.
  • To keep records of the work we do on your farm.
  • To send invoices and keep the accounts the law requires.
  • To keep this website secure and working properly.

We will not sell your personal information. We will only send you news or offers if you have agreed to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.

Our lawful basis

We use your information because you have given your consent (for example, by sending a form), because it is needed to provide a service you have asked for, because the law requires it, or for our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, our security provider (Cloudflare), the service that delivers our website forms by email (FormSubmit) and our email provider.
  • Veterinary professionals and partners, only where needed to deliver a service you have requested.
  • Government authorities, where the law requires it, for example when a notifiable animal disease is confirmed.

Some of these providers store information outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we use providers that protect personal information to the standard the NDPA requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not lead to a service for up to two years. We keep customer and service records for as long as you are a customer and for up to six years afterwards, to meet accounting and legal requirements. After that we delete or anonymise them.

How we protect it

We limit access to personal information to the people who need it, use password-protected accounts and encrypted connections, and only work with providers that keep information secure.

Your rights

Under the NDPA you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your information, or to stop or limit how we use it.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before.
  • Receive your information in a format you can take to another provider.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
