A livestock company built for modern Nigeria.
Rayiea Nigeria Limited is a Nigerian agricultural and livestock company building modern livestock production systems through improved animal genetics, artificial insemination, veterinary health, precision livestock farming and access to safer, higher-quality animal products.
What drives us
Our vision
To build a modern Nigerian livestock company that improves animal productivity, health and food safety through better genetics, veterinary science, technology and sustainable production systems.
Our mission
To make modern livestock technology accessible to more Nigerian farmers, not only the largest commercial farms, while building a commercially viable livestock business.
Our model
Animals, genetics, veterinary medicine, technology, data and farmer services working as one integrated system, led by veterinary expertise.

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria
Ibrahim founded Rayiea Nigeria Limited to bring veterinary science, better genetics and modern technology within reach of Nigerian livestock farmers.
His veterinary training at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria shapes Rayiea's prevention-first, One Health approach: healthy animals, responsible production and safer food for every Nigerian table.
The problems we solve
Livestock is central to Nigerian livelihoods and nutrition, but productivity remains constrained. Rayiea is designed to address the root causes.
Limited genetics
Poor access to superior breeds and breeding animals.
Low fertility
Weak reproductive performance and low use of AI.
Preventable disease
Including zoonoses that affect animals and people.
Weak biosecurity
Little routine health monitoring on many farms.
Technology gap
Modern tools rarely reach ordinary farmers.
Product quality
Inconsistent quality and safety of animal products.
A One Health approach
Animal health, food safety and public health are connected. We promote vaccination, surveillance, biosecurity, safe handling, better slaughter practices and traceability to reduce zoonotic diseases such as brucellosis, tuberculosis, rabies, anthrax, salmonellosis and leptospirosis.
Growing into an integrated livestock group
As we grow, Rayiea is organised around specialist divisions that together cover the livestock value chain.
